Always Walk On God's Side

By: Olivia Cristina

Life is full of challenges and sometimes it feels like we don't have the strength to overcome them. It is in these moments that we need to remember that God is always by our side and will never abandon us. He is ready to guide us and give us the strength we need to face any situation.
Life is certainly full of challenges, but if we remember that God is always by our side, we can overcome anything. He will never abandon us and will always be ready to guide us and give us the necessary strength to face any situation.

The importance of God in our lives

From the beginning of creation, God has been on the side of mankind. He is our Heavenly Father and wants us to walk in fellowship with Him. God created human beings in His image and likeness, so that we are spiritually and physically like Him. Walking beside God means maintaining an intimate relationship with Him, in which we seek Him in all things and follow Him in all our steps.

The Bible is the Word of God and teaches us about His will for our lives. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. And these commandments, which I command you today, shall be in your heart; and thou shalt teach them to thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when lying on thy bed, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign on thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thy eyes.”

By following God's will for our lives, we are walking in fellowship with Him. This means that we look for Him in all things and follow Him in all our steps. Walking beside God gives us strength to face life's difficulties, for He will never abandon us. Psalm 37:23-24 says, “The meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight in the abundance of peace. Those who are persecuted by man for righteousness' sake shall inherit the earth, and shall delight in the abundance of peace."

Why do we need God?

We need God because we are weak. We are weak and limited and He is perfect. We need God to help us overcome the difficulties of life. We can't do this alone.

God is our friend and loves us. He wants to help us. If we walk beside him, we will never be alone. We will always have his strength to face life's problems.
“Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, and I will help you; I will uphold you with my right hand of righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Where to find God?

God is everywhere, but sometimes it's hard to find him. Here are some tips to help you find God in your life:

1. Pray and read the Bible regularly.

2. Attend church and participate in religious activities.

3. Seek guidance from a pastor or other religious leader.

4. Get involved in community service and charitable activities.

5. Spend time in nature and admire the wonders of the world created by God.

6. Have deep conversations with friends and family about religious and spiritual issues.

7. Listen to spiritual music or watch movies and television programs that deal with religious or spiritual themes.

How to always walk beside God?

The easiest way to always walk beside God is to follow his directions. He is ever present in all things, and will know what is best for us. Another way to always walk by his side is to talk to him through prayer. We can express anything that is in our heart, and God will always be willing to hear us.
One last way to always walk with God is to try to live as virtuously as possible. It means being honest, compassionate, and kind to other people, just as God is to us. Following these principles, we will always be close to him and we will be able to enjoy his company and protection.
